Valls is the capital of the comarca of Alt Camp, in Catalonia, Spain. Its population is 50000 people. At only 18 km from Tarragona, Valls and the Alt Camp offers an incredibily wide range of cultural manifestations and a strategic position to international trade. Its industrial parks also holds many of the enterprise chain of Alt Camp. Around 3000 companies are gathered only in the industrial parks.
The typical food of Valls is Calçot (green onions) and also typical are the human towers known as Castells, widely known all over the world, attracting visitors and tourists coming from lots of countries, even Japan. Specially known is the event called Calçotada, celebrated the last Sunday in January, where all those events take place.
